BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT FOR ANOTHER PERSON – Once you book an appointment online, you only pay 50% deposit, the service IS NOT already paid, and we DO NOT charge the cards on file or take payments over the phone. A credit card needs to be present for the remaining balance, or you can buy a gift certificate with the remaining balance for the person.
RESERVATIONS – Reservations made in advance are highly recommended to ensure the widest selection of appointment times and services. All services are subject to availability.
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY – We can all agree that time is our most valuable asset. We ask that appointments be guaranteed against last minute cancellations as well as “no shows” with a major credit card. Rescheduling or cancelling any appointment(s) with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 100% of the service(s) price. “No-shows” and same day cancellations/reschedules will be charged 100% of the service price.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY – Bluebell Spa DC’s standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice incur a cancellation fee. During the winter months however, we are willing to make an exception to that rule. If District of Columbia is under a winter weather advisory/warning and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 24-hour window at no charge. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather, Bluebell Spa DC reserves the right to close and cancel appointments for the day for the safety of both our guests and staff.
ARRIVAL – We ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow you time to prepare for your service. Guests will check-in and fill out a questionnaire designed with their well-being in mind. If you are delayed in your arrival, your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. Bluebell Spa DC is not responsible for inclement weather, traffic delays, wrong directions, or inconvenient parking. Arriving late will limit the time of your treatment, potentially reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure.
PARKING – For your convenience, we recommend downloading the free ParkMobile App as the metered parking does require change. District of Columbia offers metered street parking for up to two hours. Please allow yourself plenty of time to find parking and locate the spa.
ATMOSPHERE – Relaxation starts the moment you walk through the door. The spa strives to provide our guests with a relaxing environment where they can take a moment to escape. In order to preserve this tranquility, we ask that guests turn off all cell phones, electronic devices, as well as maintain a quiet level of conversation. As a courtesy to others, please refrain from bringing guests or children who are not receiving services into the spa.
TREATMENT AREAS – To ensure the safety and privacy of every guest, treatment rooms are accessible exclusively to those receiving spa services. This also allows the service provider the ability to deliver the utmost care and attention to their work.
AGE REQUIREMENT – Guests under the age of 18 are welcome, but require a signed waiver and/or accompaniment of a parent or guardian. Only those who are receiving a service are permitted in the spa and treatment rooms.
CHILD SAFETY POLICY – We do not have the facilities to care for and ensure the safety of children. For these reasons, we ask that you please refrain from bringing children to the spa. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
VALUABLES – Please refrain from bringing valuables as Bluebell Spa DC is not responsible for any loss or damages to personal articles including clothing and accessories.
GRATUITY – In appreciation of outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion.
GIFT CARDS AND GIFT CERTIFICATES – All Bluebell Spa DC Gift Cards and Gift Certificates have a monetary value which may be redeemed for services or retail. As services and pricing are subject to change, Bluebell Spa DC will honor the monetary value of the gift card or certificate. Cards and certificates expire five years from day of purchase and must be present at time of redemption. The bearer is responsible if gift card or certificate is lost or stolen. PACKAGES – Our “Packages” is a great way for guests to save on their favorite service! The series could be purchased in advance or on the day of your session and could be shared between guests. There is no penalty for inactivity and the series does not expire. A series is valued for the service pricing at time of purchase and will be honored regardless of pricing changes.
RETURNS & REFUNDS – All Packages, Gift Cards and Gift Certificates purchases are final sales. They may not be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash. Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are redeemable for services, retail merchandise and gratuities. Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, and Packages expire five years from the purchase date. Gift Cards and Certificates must be present at the time of redemption. Bluebell Spa DC is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and certificates. For Bluebell Spa DC balance inquiries, please call (202) 882-2355. Bluebell Spa DC accepts returns for retail merchandise within 30 days. With proof of purchase, Guests may return unused and unopened retail products for a full refund. Opened and gently used retail products may be returned for in-store credit.
PAYMENT – Bluebell Spa DC accepts BSD Gift Cards and certificates, cash, and credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express). Bluebell Spa DC does not accept personal checks. Gift cards and certificates must be presented at time of transaction.
